A flyer informs you about the accessible areas as well as the location of mobile ramps and toilettes. Wheelchairs can be rented at the box office of the APX. The paths are constantly optimised for wheelchair users and are kept in good repair. The reconstructions of the Roman houses are largely accessible to people with impaired mobility.
, a touch gallery has been installed in the Roman Hostel. The touch gallery can be visited by groups. Individual visitors are asked to contact the supervisory staff.
To help visually impaired visitors to find their way around, a tactile plan of the park is available at the reception desk, free of charge.
Our "Hands-on history" programme is a special hands-on course for blind and visually impaired people. It can only be booked in connection with a guided tour.
a portable multimedia guide leads you through the LVR Roman museum, with films in sign language.
There is a lot to discover in the reconstructions of the Roman buildings. Many objects during the tour may be touched and tried out. The "Roman Clothing" course is particularly suited for learning impaired visitors.
